Focus on Slant, Size, and Spacing
Cursive letters have a forward slant. They lean forward. As you write, focus on keeping all of your letters slanting forward to the same degree. This will make the cursive letters in your words parallel. Keeping your paper slanted and shifting it as you write will help you keep your letters and words slanted.

Your tall letters should touch the skyline. Make your small letters half the size of your tall letters. Focus on size by keeping your tall letters all the same height and your small letters all the same height.

Focus on spacing to keep your writing legible. Make certain letters within words don’t touch. The joinings should keep the letters from touching. Keep a letter-sized space between words and after the punctuation that ends a sentence.

Write the above sentences about spacing.
